Patrick Bates was one of the first filmmakers Tim mentored, and their relationship goes back long before Financially-Free Filmmaker existed. What started as a six-month internship/mentorship became the foundation for a business that would go on to generate over $300,000 within its first three years.
After completing his business degree in Denmark, Patrick launched 4V Films and applied the principles, systems and commercial thinking he had developed through mentorship and self-education.
Despite having no formal filmmaking background, he built a respected production company with a strong team, a great culture and an impressive reputation in the Danish market.
Patrick is a strong believer that growth accelerates when you learn from people who have already walked the path. His journey is proof of what can happen when talent is combined with mentorship, consistency and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Today, Patrick continues to grow 4V Films and Coho, and remains one of the success stories Tim is most proud to have been part of from the very beginning.
